these objects trace the day

frame a desire

cutlery merges and

reclines in comfy drawers

a spontaneous faint

exists amongst the clutter

a sigh from the cupboard

content and murky

stranger still

a soft entry

presented

on a serving tray

false teeth

dancing

smart and greasy

hard outside the limits

curves

grinding on a daydream

familiar flames

terrestrial concerns

remember to empty your pockets

collect particle evidence

oh how clearly – you

love the dust

look around

the room is full

witnesses ,  sparks

in many disguises

these things rejoice in your presence

everything spins around itself

moans hisses

whispers blinks

the everyday

runs away

makes space

for bliss fire ecstasy
