Bijwerkingen; terloopse geschriften uit het Inwendig Rechtsorgaan  is een verhalenbundel bestaande uit getuigenissen, heldendichten, geschiedenissen en formele documenten over wetten en willekeurigheid.

In deze uitgave zijn afbeeldingen van schilderijen uit de serie Handhaven toegevoegd. De figuren, woorden en motieven die zowel in de teksten als de schilderijen te vinden zijn, suggereren verbanden en onderdelen van een totaal functionerend syteem.

Side Effects; indidental writings from the Internal Organ of Justice is the English translation of the Dutch original Bijwerkingen. It is a collection of short stories containing testimonies, epics, histories and formal documents on laws and randomness.

In this edition are added images of paintings form the series Handhaven. The figures, words and motives that are found both in the text and the paintings suggest links between them and that they are part of a total system of function.
